John Coltrane, Sonny Rollins, Chet Baker, as well as distinguished modern pianists including
Michel Petrucciani and Keith Jarrett. In the present arrangement, specialists will recognize a
cadential prolongation<\/strong> in sections A<\/strong> and A\u2032<\/strong>, achieved by extending the F pedal point by
two measures,<\/strong> a procedure that heightens harmonic tension and reinforces the effect of the

valuable contribution to the jazz piano repertoire but also a useful pedagogical guide for
musicians wishing to explore the art of jazz piano performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
