“Classical-Jazz Fugue Fanstasia #2”, este cea de-a doua Fuga pentru pian care se adresează atât pianiștilor clasici, cât celor de factură jazz.
În orice caz, elementele de Contrapunct instrumental (bachian), armonia de jazz sau tehnicile componistice din travaliul dezvoltător constituie itemi didactici în care compoziția clasică se suprapune pe cea de jazz, elementul comun fiind limbajul improvizatoric (prezent atât la Bach, cât și la Gershwin).
Ca și cealată “Jazz Fuga #1”, această “,Fuga Fantasia #2” se înscrie pe traseul estetic început de George Gershwin, înțeles foarte corect de Maurice Ravel (vezi Sonata în G pentru vioară și pian), Leonard Bernstein sau John Williams în creația de simbioză classical-jazz.

“Classical-Jazz Fugue Fanstasia #2” is the second Piano Fugue addressed to both classical and jazz pianists.
In any case, the elements of Instrumental Counterpoint (Bachian), jazz harmony or compositional techniques from the developmental work constitute didactic elements in which classical composition overlaps with jazz, the common element being the improvisational language (present in both Bach and Gershwin).
Like the other “Jazz Fugue #1”, this “Fuga Fantasia #2” follows the aesthetic path started by George Gershwin, very correctly understood by Maurice Ravel (see Sonata in G for violin and piano), Leonard Bernstein or John Williams in the creation of classical-jazz symbiosis.
